A few words about us

Hello, I am Vasileios!

I am the owner of Cane Sentio. A beautiful boarding and training center in Thessaloniki, Greece. I have been professionally training dogs and their humans since 2013.

In 1996, when I was 17 years old, I decided to train my first dog but my options were limited. The dog had to stay at a trainer’s facility for two months and I could not participate in the process.

I was inspired by his expertise but I was sad that I could not be part of the training… and I wanted to, so much!

“I would give anything to spend a few weeks next to someone who knows how to train canines”, I pondered.

This is how the idea of our Volunteer program began.
If you have ever felt the same way I did then you are the one we are looking for!

Hello, I am Stella!

I grew up in a small village in Greece, where stray cats and dogs were injured and mistreated on the streets. I was so frustrated and sad and dreamed of being able to help animals in need. My studies got me into physiotherapy and later I tried to combine them with my love for animals.

So, I did. I am a physical therapist and certified canine rehabilitation practitioner. I run, DogPhysio, a specialised dog physiotherapy center in Thessaloniki, Greece. My goal is to provide top-quality therapies to our canine and feline patients.

We only use evidence-based treatments for every health and behavioral condition, our therapies are personalized to each dog’s disability and personality and we only use positive reinforcement. Our goal is to achieve a better quality of life for all our customers, both four-legged and two-legged.
